A Texas A&M student was involved in a fatal car accident Wednesday on her way home to Montgomery.
Chandler Renee Small, 19, vehicle went off the road and flipped several times at 3:16 a.m. in the southbound lane of Texas 30 near County Road 228, according to DPS officials. The accident was a single vehicle accident. Renee was pronounced dead at the scene around 4 a.m.
Officials said Small was likely texting while driving, which caused her to miss a turn in the road and wreck.
