The Texas A&M women’s basketball team was blown out by Baylor University in the Aggies’ final game at Reed Arena this season.
The 97-54 loss was the fourth straight for A&M (10-16, 3-12 Big 12). Aggie seniors Lara Classen and Tressie Mason were honored prior to the game, as it was the last home game for the pair.
Baylor (18-9, 6-9 Big 12) kept itself in position for a postseason berth with the victory. The Lady Bears led by as many as 27 points against A&M. BU’s Sophia Young provided 26 points and 12 rebounds for her team.
