Freshman guard T.J. Starks contributed 17 points to the Aggies’ victory over Kentucky.

Texas A&M freshman point guard T.J. Starks was named SEC Freshman of the Week on Monday after commandeering the Aggies to two Top-25 wins last week against No. 8 Auburn and No. 24 Kentucky.
Starks posted a career-high 23 points against Auburn and made 67-percent (8-of-12) of his shots from the field. The Dallas native found much success from behind the arc and made 80-percent of his three-point shots (4-of-5).
Starks made just his fifth collegiate start on Saturday against No. 24 Kentucky and notched 17 points and a career-high four assists.
The Aggies will look to extend their four-game win streak as they play at Missouri on Tuesday. The game will be televised on ESPNU and tip off is slated for 6 p.m.
