Texas A&M will play Texas in an exhibition game in Houston Wednesday night to raise money for Rebuild Texas.

Texas A&M announced Friday evening that three men’s basketball players – guard Admon Gilder, forward DJ Hogg and forward Robert Williams – would face suspensions for violating Texas A&M policy.
All three will sit tonight’s exhibition game against Tarleton State and Williams will miss an additional two games to begin the regular season. He will be available to return against Oklahoma State on Nov. 20.
“Unfortunately, young people make mistakes. We will handle this matter internally and move on as a program,” Texas A&M head men’s basketball coach Billy Kennedy said in a statement.
Guard JJ Caldwell is already facing a five-game suspension for violating Texas A&M policy as well. He will sit the second of five games tonight against the Texans.
Texas A&M plays its final exhibition game tonight as the Aggies host Tarleton State at Reed Arena with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.
