Marie Kneeland is an English honors freshman from Beaumont, Texas. Marie joined The Battalion in January 2026 and is currently an opinion writer. She can always be found typing away in the corner of a bookshop with a cup of tea, though she sometimes ventures out to hike and enjoy nature.
