The Aggies swept the Fordham Rams in the 3 game Opening Weekend Series.

  • After reaching first on a fielder’s choice, Senior Jonathan Ducoff made his way around the bases with a stolen base at second, and being driven home by Zach DeLoach, on a hard ground ball through the infield. 

  • Cam Blake high fives Jonathan Ducoff after scoring a run in the 6th inning. 

  • Junior Bryce Blaum advanced DeLoach to third base with a line drive single to right field in the 5th inning. 

  • Sophomore Zach DeLoach reaches third base off of a base hit by Bryce Blaum.

  • Junior Braden Shewmake steals second base in the 5th inning, after reaching first on a walk. 

  • Sophomore Christian Roa struck out five batters in 3.1 innings pitched. 

  • Aggie pitchers, Childress, Roa, and Kalich totaled 9 strikeouts through 9 innings. 

  • Braden Shewmake reached base twice on balls, and safely stole his way to second base in the 5th inning. 

  • Third Base Coach Will Bolt talks to his runner at second base. 

  • Junior Hunter Coleman dives back to first back on a pick off attempt by Fordham’s Alvin Melendez. 

  • First Base Coach Jeff Christy talks strategy with Bryce Blaum after he reaches first base on a single. 

  • Christian Roa didn’t allow any hits or give up any walks to the ten batters he faced. 

  • Second baseman Bryce Blaum makes a throw to home plate. 

  • Junior Logan Foster crosses home plate, watching as the force out at First base is completed. No run scored. 

  • Middle infielders Braden Shewmake and Bryce Baum celebrate the final out of Sunday’s game and the series versus the Fordham Rams. 

  • Sophomore Aaron Walters and team closed out the Opening Weekend series versus Fordham, with a 3-1 win.
