Texas A&M President Michael Young, Senator Royce West and Student Body President Hannah Wimberly will welcome hundreds of Dallas high school students Saturday at the fifth annual DFW Aggie Rally at Duncanville High School.
The rally, which aims to interest students from different backgrounds in attending Texas A&M, is hosted each year by a partnership between West, Texas A&M and DFW-area school districts. The rally allows representatives of A&M’s major academic units and university offices to present program overviews and information on scholarships and financial aid. This year will marks the first time Young will attend the rally as university president.
Participating districts include Cedar Hill, Desoto, Grand Prairie, Irving, Lancaster, Mansfield, Mesquite and Uplift schools.
