With over a million annual page views, access to tens of thousands of people through our print publications and reasonable prices, Texas A&M Student Media is a fantastic place to advertise your content. We offer advertising opportunities through our print newspaper and magazine, online website, in-person stands, weekly newsletter and social media.
The Battalion is Texas A&M’s award-winning print newspaper that distributes 4,500 copies weekly across 120+ locations in the Bryan-College Station area, including the most trafficked buildings at A&M. Maroon Life is the award-winning magazine that distributes 4,500 copies monthly to those same stands, featuring content specialized to pique the interest of those in Bryan-College Station — such as a special edition covering the rivalry between A&M and the University of Texas. Each offers a variety of advertising opportunities able to match any need.

Texas A&M Student Media Acceptance and Sales Policies
Advertising Services
- The Student Business Manager and Associate Director make the final decisions concerning the acceptability of all advertising.
- The Battalion and/or Maroon Life reserve the right to reject advertising that it considers objectionable. Commercial advertising that discriminates based on race, creed, color, handicap, age, gender or sexual orientation will not be accepted.
- Make-goods or credit adjustments will be made when errors occur in advertising as a result of the sales desk or editorial content team.
- It is the responsibility of the advertiser to notify The Battalion and/or Maroon Life of errors.
- We will not knowingly accept advertising determined to be illegal. Advertisements for products, services or promotions that are illegal in Texas will be rejected.
Credit Policies and Payment
- Accounts holding a past due amount for over 90 days or more must pre-pay for the next advertisement in The Battalion and/or Maroon Life.
- Accounts overdue by 180 days will be turned over to third-party collections.
- All advertising/campaigns purchased in The Battalion and/or Maroon Life can be paid through the FlyteDesk invoicing system or by mailing a check to Texas A&M Student Media.
- Invoices will be sent immediately following the final placement of a single advertisement, upon completion of a semester or upon completion of a bundle/campaign with The Battalion and/or Maroon Life.
Special Rates, Payment Methods and Deadline
- Commitments for print size and price need to be confirmed 48 hours before the day print is scheduled for the newspaper or magazine to secure the sizing and placement in our publications.
- Artwork/creative assets for The Battalion and/or Maroon Life are due by noon the day of printing, which is generally Wednesday afternoons around 12:00 p.m.
- If assets are not given, the Student Business Manager and Associate Director hold the discretion to make the final call on the advertisement on a case-by-case basis.
- We offer multi-platform package discounts when advertising through our paper, website, newsletter, magazine and social media. Email [email protected] for rate inquiries.
