The Texas A&M Student Government Association Election Commission released the list of candidates running for major positions in the 2024-25 election. Finalized on Feb. 16 by Election Commissioner Jared Ramos, the candidates are as follows:

The Election Commission will host debate panels for SBP and Yell Leader candidates on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 5:30-8 p.m. in the Memorial Student Center Flag Room. The SBP Debate will take place first, followed by the Yell Leader Panel. Voting will open on Feb. 29 at 9 a.m. and close on March 1 at 12 p.m., followed by the unofficial announcement of results no earlier than 7 p.m. at the 12th Man Statue.
