First-place prizes, honorable mentions and in-depth critiques.
From Oct. 29 through Nov. 1, The Battalion took part in an annual conference packed with award ceremonies and educational sessions. The conference was hosted by the Associated Collegiate Press, or ACP, and the College Media Association, or CMA, in Atlanta.
The Battalion’s editorial staff sat in on sessions taught by industry professionals from publications such as The New York Times and industry advocacy groups like the Student Press Law Center.
