For the first time in his career, senior forward Henry Coleman III garnered SEC Player of the Week honors.
The accolade comes after the Richmond, Virginia native averaged 16 points and 12.5 rebounds in wins against SMU and Oral Roberts.
Coleman shot 84.6% from the field in both games — including a perfect 7-7 performance against the Golden Eagles — and 10-11 from the free-throw line.
Nationally, Coleman is tied for first in double-doubles, ranks No. 13 in offensive and total rebounds per game, and is No. 18 in field-goal percentage.
“[Coleman’s] hard to take off the floor,” coach Buzz Williams said. “I think the maturity and how he’s competing is much, much more mature than it’s ever been.”
Coleman and the Aggies will be back in action in the ESPN Events Invitational on Thursday, Nov. 23, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex against Penn State, at 11 a.m. CT.
