Ian Curtis, Senior Enterprise Reporter
Ian Curtis is a senior enterprise reporter and former editor-in-chief of The Battalion. He was the features editor from August to December 2024, managing editor from January to May 2025 and editor-in-chief from August to December 2025 and is a journalism junior from College Station, Texas. Ian started his time at The Batt as a sports writer, and has a variety of SEC and NCAA Tournaments, including Texas A&M volleyball’s entire 2025 national championship run, in addition to his news and feature coverage.
Ian’s work has also appeared in The Bryan-College Station Eagle, the Navasota Examiner and over the airwaves on WTAW and BCSball.com. He is a member of the New York Times Corps mentorship program and was named the 2026 Texas Intercollegiate Press Association Reporter of the Year. His work has also been honored by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, the College Media Association and the Associated Collegiate Press.
