The line to wait for testing is located off of Military Walk.
Individuals can arrive at any point during their designated time appointment.
The testing tent located in Lot 27 is a negative pressure tent. This means that fresh air is constantly circulated throughout the tent.
When escorted inside, individuals will be asked if they had any symptoms. Texas A&M ID will need to be presented and individuals should not eat, drink or smoke 20 minutes beforehand. After checking in they are handed a testing packet.
Individuals sanitize hands and are instructed to open the contents of the testing packet. The portions utilized in the process are the swab and vial.
A technician instructs the group how to swab different portions of the mouth for a total of around 30 seconds.
After the swabbing process is completed individuals place the swab in the vial for testing.
Individuals will seal their test results in their respective bags and deposit them on their way out of the tent.
Once test results are deposited individuals are asked to sanitize their hands one last time before exiting the tent.
