The Texas A&M volleyball team kicked off the Texas A&M Invitational on Friday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. in Reed Arena against the Houston Cougars. The Aggies took the first two sets, but struggled in the third to keep up the momentum. Over the course of four sets, the Aggies came out on top. Junior outside hitter Lauren Davis earned a career-high total of 21 kills while leading the Aggies to victory.
The Texas A&M Invitational will resume on Saturday, Sept. 11 for games against the University at Albany at 12:30 p.m. followed by UTSA at 7:30 p.m.
