At his Thursday night radio show, Alabama’s head football coach Nick Saban had a message for fans — the Crimson Tide could learn a thing or two from the Aggies.
“You talk about loud,” Saban said during the show. “You talk about affecting the game. I mean, their fans really did affect the game.”
The 63-year-old Alabama coach said he was impressed with the uniqueness of the 12th Man as well.
“You know, this is the first place we’ve played for a long, long time, that we never got booed when we came out,” Saban said. “First place. I’m telling you. It’s a really nice facility. They had 105,000 people. And they cheered their tail off for their team. And they made it hard for us to play.”
With Alabama hosting rival Tennessee this Saturday, Saban said he hopes their fans can compare to A&M’s.
“I hope our fans can hear this, because this is the kind of place we should be,” Saban said.
