The Texas A&M football team secured their 13th straight win at Ellis Field for the Aggies. Sophomore Midfielder Taylor Pounds scored the first second goal in the 12th minute to give the Aggies a 1-0 lead, but Jojo Ngongo scored an equalizer in the 41st minute to knot the match going into the intermission. Sophomore Midfielder Kate Colvin scored a goal at the 49th minute putting the Aggies back in the lead. Freshman Forward Maile Hayes scored the first two goals of her career, following up a free kick from Freshman Forward Natalie Abel in the 60th minute and then scoring another goal in the 85th minute. The Aggies won UTEP 4 goals to 1.
The Aggies will play Southern on Wednesday September 8 at Ellis field.
